As soon as Netflix started streaming its original series “Bombay Begums”, The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) asked Netflix to stop streaming the series. The commission objected to a particular scene where the 13-year-old character played by Aadhya Anand is taking drugs. The commission found the scene very harmful and distracting for the children and asked the OTT platform to submit the report within 24 hrs to continue streaming.

Aadhya’s achievements include the title of ‘Singtel Young Achiever’s Award in 2017 in Singapore. She has bagged the ‘Singara Award’ at the International Kannada Cultural Conference held in Singapore in 2017.
